June 2006

Favorite new toy - the Jumperoo. Rodeo Queen or Cheerleader in the making?

Meredith wants to know when she gets to be a part of Pirates of the Payette? Maybe next year...
She's not too sure about rice cereal...

We enjoyed another visit from Papa Jim, Grandma Karan and Uncle Scott. We took advantage of the great Boise weather (only 93 this weekend) and hit the fun outdoor eateries.

What's that bright light!?
Some pictures in the front yard. Jesse is determined Meredith will walk before she even rolls over!

We had a great weekend camping and rafting! To celebrate the upcoming wedding (AJ and Shannon) a bunch of us got together for a co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party complete with kids! We had a wonderful time camping on a gorgeous beach at Allison Creek on the Salmon River. Meredith's first camping trip was a success! She even slept through the night, I'm thinking maybe we should pitch a tent in our yard?

Five labs, one mutt and one poodle and who spots the bear? The poodle.
I knew the fleece suit Aunt Kortney gave Meredith would come in handy! A little bit of rain never hurt.

We spent a lot of time on the beach. Meredith and Cameron had their own cabana (Heather holding umberlla for hours).

Just like her mom...Goodnight!
On Sunday we went to the Ice Cream Social at the Children's Home. Meredith saw her friend Sarah who is only six days younger. Someday they will understand they are supposed to pay attention to one another. Meredith wore her ice cream outfit for the occassion.

We visited the Saturday Market where we ran into Cougar Karen. We celebrated her new job with bloody Mary's and mimosas. The perfect afternoon!

A little glimpse into our bedtime routine. First Meredith gets a bath from Dad, and then it's time for pj's. You'll notice her closet - the kid is not lacking in the clothing department. Then we do a little cuddling before the battle to go to sleep begins! Meredith is rocking her bald spot these days. Awesome.

Mom loves giving kisses...
It's tough being four months old! Meredith is weighing in at 12 lbs. 7 oz. and is a tall kid already at 26 inches! She only likes to sit up these days and likes to reach for things, especially the camera!

Sadly our Memorial Day weekend was filled with rain. We did manage to get in a couple walks, Meredith loves to hang out in the Bjorn, good nap time! One week shy of four months old, Meredith likes to put everything directly into her mouth. She is not a big fan of tummy time! Most of the time she is just one happy baby...

May 2006

By far the most difficult baby toy to assemble, it took TWO grandpas to figure it out. It was well worth it because Meredith loves it even though her feet don't touch yet. Thanks Naomi and Ellen!

The Kearney's have a new boat so we took a cruise around Lucky Peak. Morgan showed us her swimming skills, and fruit eating skills and Andy showed us his drinking skills. Meredith and Morgan have become fast friends!

Grandma Karan likes to go for rides, so we drove to Twin Falls to see Shoshone Falls. Meredith enjoyed her shades and spitting up.

We had a busy Mother's Day weekend with my family. Meredith finally got to meet her Uncle Scott! She also got some sun and helped cook breakfast.

An exciting day, Meredith wore her first pair of jeans and the Kearney's announced they are having another baby in January!

We celebrated Jesse's 30th birthday with a Cinco de Mayo celebration at AJ's house. We had a wonderful time with all of our friends, I only with I had been able to partake in the late night festivities! We are also getting the kids off to a good start. They'll be doing keg stands before they can ride a bike! Jesse turned 30 and Meredith turned 3 months, how the time is flying...

We have been busy moving into our new home (finally!). Meredith got to spend time with her Grandma Kathie last weekend while Jesse and I hauled boxes. Meredith also loves her new shades!
