August 2007

So these really aren't in order, but here we go. We rode bikes almost every day last week. Meredith loves her seat. Past our cabin a few miles is a place called Charlies Garden. Worth the ride every time.

Whew! I can't believe that we haven't been home in 10 days. We made it home just in time, they closed the highway down shortly after we got home. So many fires this summer. These photos aren't in order, I'm to tired to repost them. We did a lot of playing in the sand and a lot of playing in the water. Grandma Dana helped to bury Meredith many times over. We also took a fun booze cruise with the Reinhards. I told Jesse that a party barge is way more fun than the ski boat.

Janice is a natural with the kids. It's all those grandkids she has I guess! Bryant also wasn't bothered by his 1st and 2nd mates.

The Fosters spent the Labor Day weekend with us in McCall.
Grandpa Gene was there too...
Dexter and Meredith decided to see who was strongest. Maybe I should start taking Meredith to Body Pump with me?
Dexter is practicing for the strong man contest. Or for his first keg stand.

Not pictured are Uncle Chris and Aunt Kortney who came from Seattle to visit. Somehow I didn't end up with the usual slew of photos. I'll have to update this when I get photos from the others who were with us over the weekend.

LAST weekend my lovely cousin Darbi, her husband Nate and their darling girls came to visit from Helena. Isabelle, Libby and Meredith had a great time playing on the beach. We can't wait to find out what Linder #3 is going to be, perhaps another girl to add to the bunch.

Grandma Karan arrived with a bag of toys for the girls. The Grandparents babysat while the Linders and Jesse and I went to a wedding. The bubble gun was a huge hit with the girls.

Libby and Isabelle being cute.
And it just wouldn't be a visit from the Meredith Grandparents without a little Cougar fight song. This time they went all out with shirts and pom-poms. Meredith really got into the singing as you can see!

Our last dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. We had so much fun visisting, riding bikes, exploring the woods and boating.

While you are waiting for the latest update on the Hamiltons, please take a minute to VOTE for our awesome neighbor who is currently in the running on the reality show Fore Inventors Only. Vote for the Z Factor Putting Machine!

Vacation Time!
Not to worry, we won't be gone forever. We will however be gone for a whole week starting tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be back with a ton of photos from our travels...

Yay! It's Moms birthday, I got two more teeth (14 total) and my shoes match my romper! What a great day.
Pretty flowers and yummy cupcakes from Lilly Janes.
Which do I want? Mocha, tropical, banana, traditional, lemon or double chocolate?
Meredith goes for the banana.

Althought my birthday isn't until Thursday (the big 30!) Jesse and our Boise friends threw a fantastic surprise party on Saturday. Thanks everyone!

Like I needed another reason to love JM? Huge bottles of wine are the way to my heart. Sorry Jesse, I know it's our anniversary!

What fun we had four year ago! Does anyone remember that night???

I always look forward to my anniversary flowers! Jesse and I celebrate our 4th anniversary on the 16th. Boy how times change! Here is Meredith this year (hamming it up) and last year (not sure what is going on). She keeps us in stiches.

Anyone getting sick of beach pictures? Another fun weekend in the sand. This time the Bordners and our good friend Shauna joined in the fun. Kirsten had fun digging a "hot tub" for the kids which they really liked. Notice the boys pretending to read in the background. They were really watching the topless sunbather on the neighboring dock.

Push-ups sure are messy! It's okay though, easy to rise off in the lake.

Another attempt at a family picture.

Donna and Jimmy sure are funny after a gallon of rum and cokes. If they ever ask you to a "couples party" just say NO.
Meredith couldn't handle the fun, she needed a rest.
Two sleeping babes. If only I could have captured Ryders snoring!
Lake Payette claims another wedding ring.

Hanging on the dock at snack time.
You can see how bad the forest fires are around McCall. Thankfully the wind was blowing in the right direction that day.

As Ryder would say "Ghost ride the whip, put your stunna shades on"

Last night was National Night Out, we have some great neighbors that organized a picnic and had the fire dept. and police come and hang out too. The kids of course had a great time and we had fun catching up with our neighbors over cocktails. Jesse counted one night and we have something like 18 kids under the age of 9 in our little hood.

Meredith liked her fire badge sticker better than the actual fire truck.

This is for climbing right?
Meredith definitely has my sweet tooth.
It was handy to have an EMT around when Jakey scraped his knee.
All hell broke loose when a powerwheels came on the scene. Pandemonium. I got a kick out of watching Meredith try and hold her own. She cried and cried when it wasn't her turn.
She was easily distracted by water balloons!

Meredith is keeping us very entertained these days. Her vocabulary is getting bigger each day. She also thinks she is two.

We took a quick jaunt up to McCall this weekend. Jesse played in a golf tournament at Tamarack, the ladies got to meet up after golf for a great dinner and benefit for the Shepards Home. Fun was had by all, too much fun for some of us! We had a great time with our cabinmates Brett, Melissa and Ava Porter.
You can see Meredith has a lovely scab under her nose from a recent fall.
Ava has beautiful red hair, just like her mom.
Here is Brett contemplating the rough seas. You can't tell from the pictures but there are a ton of fires around McCall. Thankfully a nice breeze blew the smoke away.
Here is Jesse trying out the new sport that is all the rave on Payette, wake surfing.
