Getting back to it...

It's been such a great month, getting back into somewhat of a routine.  Although it's been far too hot for me lately.  Please no more 90 degree days.

Found this gem from ages ago.  So little!
We went to the 'Rock Party' at the Idaho Geology Museum.
The kids loved it.

Lush bath bombs are the best.
Quinn is obsessed with this bike at Georges.  We go visit it all the time.  This kid needs to get off the training wheels.
 Home salon
I'm the designated aquarium mom since we have a pass and no one can stand the place.  All the kids think I am super cool!
Big Even invites in the mail!  Whew...
First kid down and out this year.  Delaney had the flu big time last week.
Poor kid didn't move for a whole day.

Quick Seattle Trip

Lucky me, I got to travel to Seattle for a dear friends baby shower (twins!).  It was a great excuse to see all my pals from college.  It was a perfect Seattle weekend which started with wine at the airport.
Work party!  This was a fancy shower, complete with floral arrangements and place settings.  My girlfriends out did themselves once again...

The three dudes I got to spend the weekend with!
Aaron, Ethan and Jacob
See?  Fancy and super special and fun.  So much fun I forgot to take pictures of actual people.

Labor Day Weekend

Back to McCall for Labor Day weekend.  Sadly it was really cold, but we still have fun!  The Bordner kids stayed the night with us while Kirstin and Jeremy had fun at a party.  They cruised by at one point and the kids got to try out the slide...in their clothes.

We went on a fun hike to Goose Creek Falls

Jesse got in a few more ski days

One last meal at the marina before it closes for the season.
Capped off the evening on the dock with the Beesons.
Cheers to another great summer!

All About Quinn

Quinn never gets lost in the shuffle as the third child. She makes sure we always know where she is and what she is doing!  She started tap and ballet this year at Boise Dance Alliance.  So far, so good.
Jesse watched these hooligans while Kirstin and I had a meeting.
Our last year at Wesleyan!  Quinn was off to 4/5's Dragonfly classroom with no signs of trauma.
At one point she told me to leave, then I started chatting with someone, then came the tears and screaming to take her home.  Thankfully it was a one time ordeal.  My poor dental hygienist got to hear all about it a few minutes later as I was crying in her chair.  Hard to see these kids getting bigger.
Some Guidos to celebrate day #2 with no tears!

Kissing Hand

I've needed this more than I expected.

Back to School - Roosevelt

I managed to convince Jesse we needed to head home at least one day before school started.  I'm so glad we did, I needed a little mental health day to prepare for school.  The day I have been dreading for 6 years finally arrived, and it was (IS) hard.  For some reason letting Delaney go to all day kindergarten has killed me - I miss her!  Thankfully I still have my trusty sidekick Quinn around to keep me company for another year.  Big changes this year, but all good changes!
Meredith (3rd grade/Greenwood) and Delaney (Kindergarten/Cadwell)
My heart broke into a million pieces.  She was SO READY.
I actually managed to pull myself together.  No tears on either end!
Finally the end of the day!  Poor Delaney has been putting up with me showing up at recess and lunch at least once a week.  I just can't help it, I hear the bell ring and we just have to go see the big girls at school!  I'm pretty sure the staff is going to get a restraining order.

Mccall in August

Somehow, at some point we ended up back in McCall to wrap up August.
Marcus and Quinn picked their favorite boat napping
spots and went to town.
Selfie with Taelor.  My kids wouldn't play.
Delaney got to be an excellent swimmer this summer.
So proud of her fearlessness!

We did a fun hike/horseback/huckleberry picking day in the woods.
Hamiltons/Brouses/Bryans all in attendance.
Just a little bareback
Quinn insisted on a picture with this dog outside Mountain Java
Relaxing after a great day at Camp Sharlie.
Spoiled rotten!
So are we...
We love our time in McCall with great friends
Hopefully coming soon...more family pics

Meredith Family Reunion

The Meredith Family Reunion was the highlight of our summer.  We stayed at Fairmont Hot Springs outside of Anaconda in a sweet little cabin.  We had so much fun seeing new cousins and playing with 'big' ones.  It was so special to see my cousins, aunt and uncles and their growing families.
I wish we could do it every year!
We got to meet Henry Meredith straight from CA
Quinn somehow was the only player left on the girls team...
Always a party with this family!  We were toasting Mike and Rachel on their engagement...
These girls were fast friends.  Addy, Delaney, Isabelle, Meredith and Libby.
Hmmm, someones kids did not get the tall gene.

Ahhh, the old hydro tube at Fairmont.

Quinn stuck to jumping off the side.  I love MT.  No rules!
KK and Papa Jim got a real taste for life with us after a solid couple weeks of traveling with our crew.  I think they still like us?
Delaney looooves Libby
The BEST party of the reunion was having Grandma Betty make an appearance at dinner.  What a trooper.  She knew all the kids names and was even making silly faces for the camera.

Me and my superfun Meredith cousins.  We were only missing one!
And our goofy parents

All the kiddos lined up at Old Works

Official kids table!
Meredith and Libby thought it was amazing to sit at the bar and order soda from the 'soda gun'.

Cheesy Quinn
I forget what they won, but it was funny!
Rides on the shoulders of super tall people are the best.
Delaney calls my cousin Brett 'Disneyland' because he is so darn fun.
Scott and Stacy - Christmas card!
Poor Jesse was at home working...

The slide of death.  Honestly, MT has no rules.  I can't believe no one sliced their buns off.  Metal sticking out all over the place.  Hilarious way to end a great family reunion!
