October 2006

Meredith enjoyed her 1st Halloween, even though she didn't even make it out the front door. We went to a neighborhood Halloween party and that wore her out, she just didn't have it in her to go trick or treating. But she did hand out some candy!

I have to wear this thing again!?
Look at me crawl!

Meredith went to her first Birthday party for our neighbor Annabelle who turned 3 on Saturday. It was a costume party of course so all the kids got to try out their Halloween duds a few days early. Cooper (the cow) is 5 weeks younger than Meredith and he is Annabelles brother, they live right across the street!

Grandpa Jim and Grandma Karan sent me a special hat and coat from their trip to Maine! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
It's getting colder, time for hats!
Yes Mom, I do think you need one of everything!
Meredith is done with sitting down, all she wants to do is stand up. Even in the tub.
Yeah, I did it!
Look at my teeth!
Despite not feeling very well, we made it to the park for some swing time. Meredith loves to swing and play with all the dogs at Camelsback Park.

Ryder, Morgan and Meredith got to stay up extra late on Friday night. The big kids got to watch Nemo, while Meredith wondered when she gets to sit on the couch and cuddle!

Grandpa Jim and Grandma Karan came to visit this weekend and we ventured out to the Hidden Springs Harvest Festival. Nothing better than pumpkins, sunshine and beer! Meredith wasn't too sure about the pumpkins and first, then she warmed up to them! We can't believe that 8 months have passed since she was born. Jesse and I are both completely in love with our little cutie...

Meredith is trying her hardest to skip crawling and go straight to walking. We finally painted her new room, can you spot her?

Not quite crawling yet, but rolling all over the place!

Here is Meredith showing off her muscles to Grandma Dana.

September 2006

Spent the weekend in Sun Valley with the Andersons and the Kearneys. I'm not sure why I don't have more outdoor pictures, it was the perfect fall weather. Here is Meredith and Fisher already fighting over toys. We think Fisher might be a chef, he's so good at whisking! This was the best shot I could get of the three kids, it's hard to get a 2 year old, a 1 year old and an 8 month old to sit still! Pants are optional for kids in Sun Valley.

Fisher and Meredith aren't quite sure what to make of each other these days. Fisher likes to pull Meredith hair and Meredith just likes to stare at Fisher! And she loves to clap...

We had a nice weekend in Boise. Fisher came over to play and Meredith is trying her hardest to pull herself up! If you would like to see Meredith in action, check her out over on www.youtube.com.

New favorite activity is rolling around in clean/warm laundry! If only she could fold...
Meredith took her first ride in a swing the other night. She loved it, and it wore her right out. Swinging is tough work!

We had a special weekend in Spokane, Meredith was baptised on Sunday at Assumption. Her Godparents Scott and Kortney did a great job! She didn't even seem to mind her long gown either! And in other news, the little one has her first little tooth, right in front.

August 2006

Princess Morgan celebrated her 2nd birthday last night and it is sure to be a memorable one. At least for Ryan and Sarah, they are oh so happy that Jeremy surprised Morgan with a kitten (and really surprised the rest of us too!). Ryan is already plotting revenge....

The kids go bonkers over the new kitty.
Jeremy wrangles the troops!
Meredith loves her Great Grandma Thelma and Great Grandma Betty.
Just give her a box and she's happy!
Four generations!
Cousin Jace LOVED playing with Meredith. He fed her, took her for walks and gave her baths. Such a nice boy!
Libby showed Meredith how to play with playdoh, she likes it!
Libby, Isabelle and Meredith playing at GG's house in Anaconda. The first time they have met!
Meredith had a nice weekend at home. She likes to play in the yard and blow bubbles and she loves to jump and watch her dogs through the screen!

Here is Meredith looking a bit guilty as she tries to tear into the pretty flowers Jesse sent me on our 3rd anniversary. How times change!
Grandma Karan made a visit to Boise this weekend. We traveled up to McCall on Friday to check out our new cabin since Meredith and I had not seen it yet. We LOVE it! Meredith especially loves the beach and her "resting" spot on the grass. I'm sure Jesse has visions of a speedy new ski boat tied up to the dock...we'll see about that!

On Thursday evening we took a picnic to the Idaho Botanical Gardens with the Andersons. Poor Fisher is already getting bossed around by Meredith.

Another wedding weekend for us, this time cousin AJ got married to Shannon. It was wonderful, Meredith got to meet lots of family!

The reception was held at the top of Bogus Basin Ski Resort.
My favorite part of the wedding, the cak! And it was the BEST cake I've ever had...
Dr. and Mr. Foster!
Meredith is enjoying the reception.
A lovely Idaho evening!
