February 2007

Meal time is always messy at our house. Meredith had an exceptionally messy dinner the other night. Her hair is proof of that.

Merediths First Birthday

WOW! What a wonderful weekend we had celebrating Merediths first birthday with friends and family. All three sets of grandparents were in town for the occassion along with Uncle Chris and Aunt Kortney. We had a birthday bash with loads of friends and family! We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives that love little Meredith.

We had lots of cupcakes! Meredith even had her own special birthday cupcake plate made with love from Grandma Karan.

She was very fascinated with the candle. She dug right into the cupcake and LOVED it.

The sugar induced meltdown occurred at 12:30am. It was a lovely night for mom and dad.

Meredith is such a lucky girl. She got lots of fun gifts from her friends. We especially liked the "Jessica Simpson" outfit from Ryder. Who knew they made such tiny shorts?

Jacob Mark helped test out the new music set he brought for Meredith. He is such a nice boy!
Meredith was a bit shell shocked at times...so many new toys to play with.

Morgan wanted to join in on the present opening fun.
"Ohhh, what's in there mom?"

A special treat from Grandpa Gene and Grandma Dana- a slide!
Ahhh, finally we get to sit down.
Zane helps Meredith with her new wand.
Ohhh, I LOVE my Pooh cart. Thanks Nana!

A new tutu!

January 2007

Every morning Meredith likes to visit the toys in her toychest. She is especially fond of this hat which she wears around all the time. She is our little reader!

It's hard to believe that this was me one year ago today! I look very annoyed...

We were in McCall for the first weekend of the Winter Carnival (www.mccallwintercarnival.com). We hit the parade and were shocked by the number of people!

Just one of the enormous ice sculptures that are built for the festival. They are HUGE!
Meredith playing her favorite cabin game, empty all the drawers. She is also wearing her favorite outfit, nothing but socks!

On Saturday we bundled up and headed downtown to join in the neverending BSU fanfare. There was a parade with the coaches and players and it was pretty fun! Over 25,000 people packed downtown. There was lots of orange and blue!
The Capitol Building.
Some cutie triplets we saw. And Jesse thinks multiples would be fun - ha!

Another fun weekend in McCall! This time Grandpa Jim, Grandma Karan and Uncle Scott drove down from Spokane to hang out with us. Of course Meredith got spoiled. Eating apples on the counter, getting rides in her wagon and getting lots of hugs and kisses. Her love of beer bottles continues...

Meredith is officially 11 months old and into everything. She manages to get herself wedged into the most odd spots. She currently loves to drop things and says "Uh-Oh". She is very close to saying socks!

We headed up to the cabin to ring in the New Year. I found Meredith helping me pack at home. She is quite a little climber.

We took a hike into Bear Basin. Ryder loved being pulled in the sled. I'm not so sure Jeremy liked doing the pulling!

We need to get Meredith some sunglasses!

Meredith is fascinated with the camera...

The gang on New Years Eve.

Meredith loved to cozy up with Jennifer.

Lots o' Boots!

Ryder had some bottom troubles and didn't want to sit down. Yeowch! Meredith just likes being naked.
