Thanksgiving on the Road

The kids had a week off from school for Thanksgiving so we packed up and hit the road to Spokane!
After a quick overnighter in McCall we hit KK and Papa Jims new house in record time (4hrs 40min).  We had tons of fun playing at their new house, collecting golf balls on the golf course in their backyard and we got to see lots of Uncle Scotty and Aunt Stacy!
Stacy brought the girls to see her horse Marty.  Highlight of their trip!
They got to brush him...
and brush him some more...
and some more.
Meredith was in HEAVEN. She would be such a good horsewoman (if she had nicer parents).
KK came with us too!
In her element.
Quinn had a great time too.  However, her really loud screaming did not endear her to
the other horses in the stable.
Delaney loved riding too.  Stacy even has a little kid saddle.
Of course I forgot my camera so excuse the crappy iphone pics.
These two are BEST buddies.  A little 'quiet' time.
Bieber always makes road trips better.
We stayed in McCall again on our way back to Boise.  We made a quick trip to Bear Basin to find a tree!  After a little searching and a little fighting and a little crying - we found one!
Gorgeous day!
Sweet, sweet Delaney!  She is thankful for dogs, kitty cats and her sisters.

The Rest of November

I've been having some major technical difficulties over here.  Excuse the lack of posts as of late!
Some of these pictures are really old.  We have had some great weather this fall in Idaho.
Lots of park time for the girls!
Delaney mastered the swinging bars at Brown Park in McCall.
We took Fisher with us to the Aquarium one day after school.
Dinner at Boise Fry Co after gymnastics one night with buddy Ruby.
Lots and lots of leaf raking has been happening.
Randomly walked out of a store to see the capitol tree making it's way down the street.

Gangnam watching while I make dinner.
Whole Foods finally opened, right by our house.
Quinn still mostly refuses to walk, she likes to ride her bug instead.

November 2012 - Week 1+2

No more excuses.  The real reason I've been a bad blogger is Breaking Bad.  We are all caught up now so hopefully I can spend my time doing more productive things than watching people cook Meth.  I love it though, can't wait for season 5.

Dear, sweet Sara is the only person that Quinn will let watch her when I am away.  On Wednesdays Sara nd I have been swapping kiddos.  She sent me these pics from last week.  Poor Eli has to put up with the Hamilton girls mugging on him.  Someday he may like it!

First snow pile in McCall.  The battle of the coat continues with Delaney.  I'll claim a victory since she has it on, although not zipped which is a win in her book.  Ari Nevela got to experience the Hamiltons in close quarters.  Pretty sure he's okay being an only child.

He did like cruising around with Delaney.

Jesse did some bird hunting today and came home with some meat.
Thankfully Marjorie actually likes to cook pheasant so I don't have to look at frozen birds
in my freezer all winter.
Meredith really wanted a dead bird to take to school.
Quinn kept saying 'they dead, they dead' and laughing.
The kid is scaring me!

Elki and Ruby, the old dogs still have it I'm told

Halloween!

I really need to step up my game in the picture department.  Every single time I bring my nice camera somewhere, check the batteries and everything it always seems to poop out on me.  Anyway,  here is a few pictures from Halloween (thank God that holiday is over).

Delaney got to come with me to the 1st grade party in Mrs. Greenwoods room.
That wig is hot I'm told.
 Playing ring toss
Teeth are falling out like crazy in the classroom.
Pin the wart on the witches nose
The Flamenco dancer coustume is back!
These two have spent every halloween together since they were born!
Superman was hard at work cleaning up after the party.
I can't believe this is the only picture I have of Quinn.  She was SO excited to trick or treat.  Then we hit the first house and a cat scratched her face.  She was DONE.
Probably with cats and Halloween forever.
Heading out with some friends.  Perfect night for trick or treating!
