December 2006

Meredith is cruising around the house these days. I'm sure she will be walking soon!

Is that Mike or Santa?

The dancing dog was a favorite. Thanks Grandma Kathie!

Meredith loved her first Christmas at Grandma Karan and Grandpa Jims house. She went nuts over the rocking whale that Grandpa Jim hand made for her. It's so cute!
Meredith had such a cute Christmas dress but she hated it because she couldn't crawl. So the dress didn't last long! She was fascinated with the baby she kept seeing in the mirror.

We headed back to McCall for the weekend with the Andersons and the Fosters. It was a gorgeous weekend but very cold! Dr. Foster (it's lovely to have a Dr. in the family, thanks AJ) thinks Meredith has Cold Urticaria. She gets horrible hives on her exposed skin in the cold. You can kind of see it on her face. She just can't stay awake in that backpack!

Meredith and Fisher found lots to do at the cabin. Meredith found a good spot to sit and read. Both kids found the plastic bag drawer which is really safe! Fisher showed Meredith how magnets work. And they both really love their binkies!

Some random shots from last week. Meredith sitting in her favorite box, Jesse putting up the Christmas tree and Meredith trying to get at the tree in her room! She loves that pink tree.

Another fun weekend in McCall! Tucker and Ruby are so good with Meredith. They let her crawl on them, pull their hair and tails and poke their eyeballs.

Meredith is getting so big, she loves to sit with the grown-ups at the table.

We hunted down the perfect Christmas tree in the Payette National Forest outside of McCall. Meredith fell asleep after about ten minutes in the backpack.

The Bordners!

A girl after my own heart. We're starting her off reading really high quality books...

Meredith likes to push her music table into the pantry and play tunes and check out food.

She is also over, under and on top of everything. When she hears the dishwasher door open she crawls as fast as she can so she can crawl in.

Thanksgiving 2006

We went to the festival of trees to get in the Holiday spirit!

Sneaking pie with Grandpa Jim. She LOVES pumpkin pie!
Ryder taught Meredith how to put a box on her head!

Meredith likes the favors Grandma Karen made for everyone.
Jesse carving his first turkey!

Reading books with Uncle Scott.

Setting the table with Grandma Karen.

November 2006

We had such a nice visit in Seattle! Meredith got to meet all of our Seattle friends. She had a great time playing with Tamsyn (and her toys!) and Bella. We tried to wrangle the girls together for a group picture in the cute sweater that Sheri Petryszak got them all, it was quite a challenge.

Lindsey and Kirsten entertain Meredith during Apple Cup. Who won by the way?

We need some more boys around - Chelsey maybe you have a boy baby in there?
Meredith got a new snowsuit today! She's not quite sure about it yet...
Meredith is getting into all sorts of trouble. This is where I found here today after turning around for five seconds. She's fast! You'll notice all the drawers are pulled out as well. Good things we don't have nearly enough stuff to fill this big house!
9 months old and Meredith is quite the little ham. She loves to crawl in and out and over everything. And scream as loud as she can, she loves to scream!

We headed up to McCall this weekend and brought along Aaron and Shannon too! Meredith got a taste of her first snowfall. The view from our deck is fantastic! Can't wait to hit that beach come summer. For right now we'll enjoy skiing at Brundage and snowshoeing around the area.

Aunt Kortney came to visit last week. Meredith also got in lots of Grandpa Gene time, she loves her Grandpa!

The Hamiltons and Porters ventured up to our cabin this weekend to get things moved in and to paint. The girls had a great time playing together. Three people would paint while one of us would watch the girls. We managed to paint all the rooms! Next time we visit will be for relaxing...

Brett and Jesse may never paint again!

We had dinner in McCall at Dylan and Stacy's new cabin, it is gorgeous. Meredith had a good time too!

Zane came to visit and loved pushing Meredith around in her walker.
