April 2009 - Week4

We had such a fun weekend that I lost my voice from all the 'catching up'. Actually I'm not sure what is wrong with me but I've never not been able to talk before, it's odd. Anyway, we kicked off the weekend with a wine tasting at the Roosevelt. Always a good time. I'm glad we got there early and snagged the last table. We called in the troops to join us...
JJ and Jesse
Isla, Heather, Delaney and me. Poor Isla and Delaney both have scratched up ears from their endless ear infections. We are seeing a specialist on Thursday. I think we are headed for tubes.
Kirstin, Payton, Delaney and Me
Meredith and Ryder goofing off
WB, Marjorie, Heather and Isla
The gang! Notice Jim and Beth - we love the Kearneys at any age!
Always fashionably late.
Last year we were all starting to have huge bellies about this time. We have since traded in our pre-natal yoga mats for wine glasses.
JJ and Ryan
Payton must have had a stinky one.
On Saturday my good friend Shauna got married to Chris. I took some pictures but the real photographer did a better job, go figure. See those here.

Meredith traded her basket for a bridesmaid bouquet during the ceremony.
Sara became Merediths best friend. Sugar cookies and iphones win!
Meredith really loved the dancing at the reception.
She had the dirty feet to prove it! Sorry Brooke.

There was a lot of dancing and we are so happy for Shauna and Chris!

April 2009 - Week 3

These pictures from our weekend are out of order but I don't have it in me to change them around. I'm too tired. Delaney is on double ear infection #249 and there has been little to no sleep at our house. Time to see a specialist about her little ears. Poor girl.
We finally had a nice weekend here, sunshine each day. On Friday night we had a little impromtu get together (thanks for the pizza kirstin!). We just love living back in the 'flatlands'. Payton and Delaney are now almost 9 months old. It's funny to see them together, they do everything just the same! Except I don't think Payton is obsessed with eating leaves like Miss Delaney.
Not sure what was happening here, but I see Sam going after a ball which is not unusual!
On Sunday Fisher came over for a little playdate. The kids quickly shed their clothes to run through the sprinkler. Then Scary Larrys Ice Cream truck rolled by right on cue (I'm not kidding, thats what he calls himself and trust me he is totally creepy). Don't send me hate mail if he is truly disabled in some way.
I'm trying my hand at potting some plants. These are out on our side patio. Let's hope they don't die.
The Honda is home again. If you've known me long enough then you've seen this car! Well it's back in Boise and if you're lucky enough you'll see Jesse crusing around town. The truck is parked for weekend use only - thank GOD. We could do without the loud tailpipes (thanks Scott) but it's fun for Meredith to hear her dad coming home 4 blocks away.
Our green green grass.

April 2009 - Week 2

Happy Easter everyone - a bit late of course. We just got home from almost a week in Spokane. The kids are pooped and I'm pooped, but it was well worth it. We were able to visit with lots of friends and family, celebrate Easter and get Delaney baptised. Whew! This is a sampling of all the photos. If you want to see the whole slew of them go HERE.
This little bunny started crawling a couple days before we left. She found her 'wheels' at Grandma KK's house and is off and scooting. The baby gate is up again and I have to keep my floors clean - boo!
Delaney with Aunt Carolyn
The girls with Nana. Meredith was so tired she couldn't muster up a smile. The big red ball was Delaneys favorite toy at KK and Papa Jims.
The Easter bunny came!
After Easter Mass at good old Assumption Delaney was baptised by Father Mike who also baptised Meredith a couple years ago.
Getting dunked
Getting blessed and oiled up
Our sweet girl is all Holy now! Thanks Uncle Scott and Aunt Kortney for being awesome Godparents.
A rare family picture.
My mom dug out my old Strawberry Shortcake dolls. Meredith LOVED these things.
I sure hope they like each other this much forever!

April 09 -Week 1 Part II

I'm shocked that John and Jesse remembered to take pictures last weekend. It sounds like they had a super time with the kids in McCall. Fisher plays HARD, he is fast and furious and I think Meredith had a hard time keeping up. She was so overheated on Saturday night that she threw up all over John. Sorry John! He is such a good Dad he didn't even gag. Meredith also randomly threw up at dinner last night, I really just think she was soooo tired she couldn't handle it!
Skiing at Brundage
I just knew if Meredith saw Fisher skiing she wouldn't throw a fit. She made 6 runs with no complaints! I think the weather helped.
Easy Street
Trying to keep up with Fisher man.
The Dads didn't rest for a second. Ice skating, skiing, swimming...they did it all!
Good buddies

Giggly Girls

It's just me and Delaney this weekend. Jesse, Meredith, John and Fisher are up at the cabin in McCall. Delaney is really missing her sister, she just isn't her usual giggling self. As you can see, Meredith can really keep her entertained.

April 09 - Week 1

It's not often that we pack up the kids and head out for dinner, it's just a lot of work! Jeremy had tickets for the Steelheads game last night, in a suite so we decided to risk it. We met up with the Bordners and Kearneys at BarDeNay before the game. It was wild, we all survived and I'm sure the wait staff was happy to see us go.
Delaney enjoyed the hummus plate. Once again she ate more than Meredith.
Kirstin looking lovley
Morgan, Jeremy, Meredith and Jesse
Aiden wasn't to sure about the BarDeNay scene.
It's great to watch hockey from a suite (basically a hotel room). The little girls got to do lots of rolling around and made several attempts to crawl and eat each others faces.
8 months old this week!
Adam and Sam Richins joined us, Sam loved the game.
Morgan and her first love.
These two are attached at the hip.
