June Wrap-Up

Ahhh, a nice long trip to McCall is just the way to end the month and celebrate the 4th of July!
We started the first of two weekends with a visit from Nana and Papa Mike.  Thanks for coming to see us, we loved the company and we had a great time!

Jesse is prepping Meredith to ski behind the boat.
Quinn napping in her tent

What a good Papa!

Thanks for making the driving down to see us!

First tube of the season

Not quite ready to make take the plunge

It's safe on Papa Mikes lap!

A rough Monday in McCall.  KK and Papa Jim traded places with the other set of grandparents.  I'm a little nervous to be here by myself!  It would take us all day to get down to the beach...

The two princesses watch KK build a castle for them.

Papa Jim takes Delaney for a ride.

Sunbathing

Pizza on the deck before we lost power for 21 hours.  It was like a war zone here today!  I carried a carafe to the only coffee shop in town that had power and waited forever to get it filled.  Must. Have. Coffee.

Delaney likes to eat by her 'Big Self'.  She combines saying 'by myself' and 'big girl'.  It works!

Sweet Quinn at 11 weeks!

We are looking forward to a visit from Papa Gene and Daddy next!

June 2010 - Week 3 + Fathers Day

Not much to report from the Hamilton household this week.  All 3 kids were sick so we didn't have too much fun, everyone is fully recovered!  I would like to send a special shoutout to Jesse for being a terrific Daddy to our 3 girls.  They certainly love him and so do I (even with his uncanny ability to sleep through everything!).  Thanks for putting up with all of us Jesse - we love you!

On a side note, I just saw this picture and thought Quinn was a doll.
Sometimes (a lot) I forget we have 3 kids.
We had a pool party with some friends.  These 2 are going to be trouble when they hit the streets of Boise in 13 years!

Bucket Bike

I'm finding it challenging to haul all 3 kids around town on my bike.  I finally saw one of these in real life and I'm in love.  I'm ready to throw in the towl on our WeeRide, the TagAlong and the Chariot if I could have this lovely ride.  I'm a circus train right now riding around with all my contraptions.

Quinn!

*Edited to add that Quinn is our biggest kid yet.  2 month stats: 11 lbs.12oz and 24 1/2 inches long*
My good friend Marjorie came over to take pictures of Quinn the other day.   I thought the kids would be on their best behavior for her...well they were a little bit rowdy.  Thanks for putting up with us Marjorie.  We love all our photos.

June 2010 - Week 2

It was a busy week in Boise.  After a disastrous trip to SuperCuts I took Meredith to Caritta where I get my hair cut.  After Meredith had her hair fixed I decided Delaney needed a cut as well.  I'm glad I didn't think about it too much because it's bringing a tear to my eye seeing my baby girls hair being cut!  Now she has a cute bob and it's even at the bottom. She was a good little customer.  The haircutting was not her favorite part however, it was the bubbles in the pedicure chair that kept her entertained!  When Meredith was through getting her hair cut she said "I like this place, there is a lot of pink".  Go figure.
Meredith had golf lessons all week at Warm Springs GC with her good buddy Addison.  She looooved her lessons which made us happy.  We might do it again in July!

Delaney also took a liking to golf.

Delaney is giving me gray hair, but I just love her to pieces.

Meredith and her driver.

Addison rocked the argyll.

We headed North on Friday for the weekend.  Papa Jim and KK decided to join us at the last minute.  As usual we had a great time.  We even saw some wildlife on the way to the Yahoo Corrals.
Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see?

Checking out the horses

The girls love to ride the ponies in the summer

"Stop embarassing me Dad!"

We did get in a little boat time.  Gotta break in the new engine.

Poor Quinn spends a LOT of time in her carseat.

First sandcastle of the summer!

Thanks for joining us Mom and Dad!
