Cat Ski

Last weekend Jesse and 10 of his friends went cat skiing up at Brundage. Despite having far less snow this year, I guess it was way better skiing. It looked like a beautiful day. I don't think Jesses liver will ever be the same. I keep reminding him how OLD we are getting.

Cool Cousins

Jesse and I have tons of cousins, like 40 each or something like that. Anyway, Jesses cousin Jon is a very talented metal artist. I just saw this awesome hospital bed that he makes. Maybe Miss Delaney will get lucky and this will be her big girl bed in a year or so? You can check out all of Jons stuff HERE.

I also think Jon is super cool because he built a snail car and a FLAMING bar. I might need to rent this for my next party.

February 2009 - Week 3

We were so thankful to have Grandma KK come and visit while Jesse was off skiing last weekend. It was a nice sunny weekend! Spring fever is going to hit here soon. Meredith got some new bubbles and it was nice enough out to try them.
KK and Delaney enjoying the sun.
Meredith getting a little trim.
Meredith has her own little digital camera that you can actually download photos from, here are some of her 'artistic' shots from the last couple weeks.

February 2009 - Week 2

I love living in Idaho because we get to see awesome stuff like this. We spotted this sign in Cascade on our way up to McCall.
Delaney is sitting up all by herself, she hardly ever falls over anymore.
Meredith came up from the basement sporting this new look. Hmmmm, I'm not sure that is what the ladybug stickers are for.
Ski attempt #1, going down the driveway. Didn't work out so well.
Frustrated Jesse trying to convince Meredith that skiing is fun!
Delaney loves her solids. The kid has some wild hair!
The problem is, she likes to hold the spoon herself.
She also loves this contraption. You put soft fruit/food in the little mesh bag and let the kid go to town. Delaney can eat a whole nectarine in about 2 minutes.
Skiing attempt #2 at Brundage. We thought maybe if Delaney and I came to watch it would be more fun.
No such luck.

Maybe next time!

6 Months Old

This little lady really is the happiest baby on the block. She keeps us all in stitches with her funny looks and giggles and constant laughter. Jesse is happy because she is saying "dadada". Delaney weighed in at 14lbs and is 26 inches long.

Birthday #2 - February 7th

Meredith was a little out of sorts this morning before her "friends" party. She perked right up though at the mention of presents. I broke down and got the fames princess cake from Fred Meyer. We visit this cake at the bakery every time we are at FM. This thing is huge. I've now had 8 pieces myself.
10 toddlers are actually easy to manage when there is a project!
Aiden getting creative with his prince crown
Fisher sporting his new hat. Not only did Fish break his arm a couple weeks ago but he stuck a peanut up his nose the other night. John got it out by plugging one nostril and blowing into Fishers mouth really hard. It worked!
Present time!
Everyone wanted in on the action
Goofy Ryder. We are happy he made it to the party. His baby sister Payton got to come home from the hospital today after a week in the PICU. We've been worried sick and are so glad she is going to be just fine!
Princess Morgan
Kate Rose was a fan of the frosting
Blowing out candles
Lighting candles is serious business
Happy Birthday Meredith!

Birthday #1 - February 4th

We wanted to celebrate Merediths birthday on the actual day she was born. Papa Jim and KK came into town for the festivities, Gene and Dana and Eric came over as well as Great Aunt Carol and our fantastic neighbors Mark and Jeannine. Meredith did a little fashion show with all her "loot". This was the first time she has ever asked to go to bed, she was wiped out!
I see a Halloween costume for 2009!
The traditional cupcake on her special plate which KK made for her 1st birthday.
Singing in the...living room? She's dying for it to rain.
We were all waiting for her next move to entertain us.

3 Years, 6 Months and 1 Day

Boy, I don't feel nearly old enough to have a 3 year old. How did this happen?! And where did my tiny little baby Delaney disappear too? Today is a big day at the Hamiltons. Meredith is 3 YEARS OLD today and Delaney turned 6 MONTHS OLD today too!
The other wonderful news is that Sara and Adam Richins had their new baby boy Eli James yesterday afternoon making him ONE DAY OLD. We love living near St. Lukes, just a hop skip and a jump to see new babies. Little Eli is a doll and his mom and dad are doing great.
The presents started arriving early via FedEx and UPS. The good old USPS was the big winner though - they came the earliest!
This is happiness!
A new pose from Meredith. Looks like it hurts.
