April 2011 - Week 4 + Easter

A poor, poor showing of Easter pictures on my part.  We were in McCall this weekend and I just don't like taking pictures inside our cabin, they always turn out horrible.  But here are a couple from the weekend.  Papa Jim and KK drove down and suprised the girls on Friday.  They are off on another European adventure here soon so they wanted to get in one last visit. The girls were soooo happy to see them, it was fun to see their shock and awe when the grandparents walked through the door.

Kids were up early wondering if the Easter bunny found his way to McCall.
He did, and he brought Peeps of course.
This kid loves sugar. Looks like some window washing is in my future.
Wondering which basket it for her!
 3 Amigos.
We hit up the Brundage egg hunt.  It was hilarious to watch the kids bomb down the hill to grab eggs.  Meredith and I scoped out the best spots from the chairlift.
While Meredith hit the egg hunt from the top of the hill, Delaney went with a different strategy.
No skis and she started from the bottom.

Delaney is so tiny that it's hard for her to get the hang of skiing, but she made big strides this weekend.
Meredith is just plain sick of the bunny hill.

 Good work Dad!
Family ski day (-1 kid).  Thanks for helping us Mom and Dad!

April 2011 - Week 3

It's sad that I only have 3 pictures to show from a really fun weekend.  It was good to be in Boise for the weekend to catch up with friends and get some stuff done around the house.  Friday night we spent a couple hours (most of us...someone came home LATE) at a fun pizza party with friends and kids.  I think I had about 10 conversations but never got to finish one of them.  Next time we leave the kids at home!

Do you remember the party bus from our annual pub crawl?  Well a few weeks after the pub crawl there was a Groupon for the party bus/wine tour.  Of course we said okay!  On Sat. 15 of us climbed back on board for an Idaho wine tour.  We started at Cinder, in Garden City which was really fun and easy to get too.  Then it was off to the netherlands of Canyon County.  I think we hit Williamson, Koenig and Ste. Chapelle.  Only bad one was Williamson.  Bad customer service and bad wine.

Who invited the short brunette?
We all brought something to share on the bus.  Jessica brought everything but her kitchen sink.  She even brought a whole bag of salt.  Which I enjoyed because it was fancy and organic!
 The gang at Koenig.

April 2011 - Week 2

Jesse and I returned late Sunday night from a great vacation!  We traveled to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for the wedding of Jesses dear friend Greg Hansen.  I was really excited to stay at Casa Del Mar, it was beautiful and relaxing with hardly any kids around to remind me what I left at home!
We had a fireside dinner a few nights.

Beachside pool.  Right up my alley since I am not much of an ocean swimmer.
Don't let the overcast weather fool you, it was HOT.
Greg and Courtney Cain were there.  Haven't seen them since our last vaca together in
Cabo 4 years ago.
Breakfast on our balcony each morning was a treat.  So was seeing the naked folks in the infinity hot tubs in the rooms next to us, above and below.
Outside CDM waiting for a ride to the Hansens place for the rehearsal dinner.
 These two love to match.
Mariachi band met us in the courtyard at the Hansens.
 Party People
 Poolside party people
Late night dance party...sorry whoever was trying to sleep.
 Wow, I was having fun.
Collars up on the Hansen boys.
Thumbs up from Tami and Kevin
Random shot inside a random dudes condo.  We met this lonely guy at the bar and went his place for a nightcap.  Safety in numbers!  Josh is concerned.
This is right before Marilyn and I fled the scene.
Another rough day at Casa Del Mar
 Heading down to the ceremony

 Droz's and Cains
 Stolen pics from Lindsay...beautiful ceremony.
The bride Heidi and her Dad
 More local tunes!
Cocktail hour.  Why not have 2?

Heading to the beachside restaurant for the reception
The bar and my main men.

Thanks Grandparents for holding down the fort while we had fun!
