Julyish

I don't ever remember a summer going by so quickly!  We've been enjoying a couple weeks home in Boise before we spend most of August in McCall.  Unfortunately we've been here for an extreme bout of heat.  So hot every single day, with no end in sight.  90 tomorrow sounds chilly!
So we'be been keeping busy doing lots of 'inside' things.  Like hanging out at pet stores and animal shelters (to rescue Ruby, but that is another story).  The girls will spend hours petting kitty cats.
And old pic of my wild flowers that finally bloomed (2 years later) in McCall.
Quinn likes sunglasses, but only upside down.
Old pic from a few weeks ago
Adults only booze cruise!

Again with the upside down glasses...
Sitting at a stop light, they thought this was hilarious for some reason
BSU bowling alley, it's SO SO cold and nice in there.

Crane Creek pool fun with Skenes, Bordners, Kearneys!
I didn't get a picture of the moms diving board contest which was amazing to say the least.
Delaney took some golf lessons
While Delaney golfed Quinn got to mug on baby Will.
And do a little putting in cowboy boots
We had an early birthday celebration with Sam and Eli.  We are on opposite travel schedules the rest of the summer so we squeezed lunch and a trip to Powells in while we could.
Discovered the cotton candy machine

Two weeks of swim lessons for the big girls. The last day was waterslide day!

Of course Delaney couldn't be outdone by her big sister.  Pipsqueek on the slide.

More Lake Time...

We had another great weekend in McCall, away from the heat in Boise.  I can usually stand a couple weeks in August of 100+ temps, but this is getting ridiculous.  I'm so thankful we have a place to escape the heat.  We did a lot of playing outside and loved the cloud cover!  It was a jam packed weekend with visits from AJ, Shannon and Logan Foster as well as about 25 of Jesses relatives.
We all had a great time, too much fun to bother picking up the camera...

And Sam got up on our trainer skis!
We celebrated Amanda Kings birthday with a booze cruise and dinner at Shore Lodge.
Our favorite way to spend Saturday night!

A Ketchum Fourth o' July

I'm almost blogging in realtime here, it's a miracle.  We haven't been home for more than 2 days in almost a month.  But don't worry, we've been having lots of fun.  We spent the 4th of July on the other side of the mountains in Sun Valley.  We drove in to Ketchum in a downpour which was SUCH a nice treat.  If you haven't heard, it's been HOT in Idaho. We caught the Hailey parade on the 4th which was a really fun time.  Quinn cuddled up to Grandma Connie right away!
It was fun to spend the 4th with the Skenes!
Catching on the the fact that people were throwing candy at them...
Hudson and Kennedy were there too

Drew decided to kick back, let the big kids do the running around and enjoy a cold lime-a-rita

 Super toothless candy hoarder
Literally the last car in the parade was a jacked up car with hydrolics that was so loud it scared the crap out of Quinn.  We saw it a couple more times of the weekend and she
would start crying immediately.  She hated that thing.  I don't blamer her.

 Much happier poolside
 Delaney too
We got spoiled by Anna and Heather and got to swim and hang out at Zynergy Spa.

 Mandatory Grumpys stop
Pretty Heather hanging out at Jacks 40th birthday party
Meanwhile back at the pool...more jumping

I think we visited every pool in Sun Valley!
