Oldies but Goodies

I found these long lost pictures on a camera that we rarely use anymore.  I can't believe this was almost one year ago!  Delaney still fits into the same clothes...and so does Quinn.

First day of Mom and Tots at Wesleyan
Sara and I went to elementary school together.  Now our kids go to preschool together!
Eli was NOT happy that first day.
Walking to Roosevelt to pick Meredith up from Kindergarten.
It's fun to hide behind the old hitching posts along our street.

 Their waiting spot for Meredith
First day of Kindergarten.  So nervous!

I should have taken a picture at the end of the year.  I bet they can all see over the railing now!
Most days walking home from school Delaney gathers quite a collection of stuff.

July 2012 - Weel 3 + Phone Dump

We had a little McCall hiatus in Boise.  We caught up with friends, played with our toys at home and were forced to do  yardwork.  We are all rested and ready for another trip North to get out of this ridiculously hot weather.  108 one day...ay yiyi.  Jesse was gone fishing last weekend and our neighbors were having a yard sale.  Perfect combo - the kids were entertained ALL morning and they finally got to have a lemonade stand!

Morning shift.
Charlotte came by to help with the afternoon shift.
Meredith was very patient waiting for customers, Delaney got bored pretty quick!
Sherrie and Erin helped me 'supervise'.  Suprising that there is no wine...must have been before 11am.
Our favorite babysitter and swim teacher Celeste stopped by for some treats.
Grammy Dana and Jeannine made a killing.  The best part of the whole yard sale was the people watching.  Amazing what people come out of the woodwork.  Sale started at 8am, there were cars lined up at 7am and people stalking stuff the night before.

Phone Dump!
Super tired at KKs house last month.
Waiting in line at the carousel in Spokane
 4th o' July in McCall!
Watching fireworks from our dock.  I lasted about 10 seconds.  Crying kids and a bug hatch sent me in!  Plus is was 11pm.  Sheesh McCall next time maybe a little earlier?!
 Almost the same size...
 Figuring out the splash pad
Big girl who is almost FOUR finally fits into a 3T.
"Hey I just met you, and this is crazy, but her's my number..."

July 2012 - Week 2

We couldn't pass us a chance to get out of the 100+ degree weather and head back to McCall.  The Brouses are brave enough to host all of us and we had a great time!  We arrived first and had some apps on the tailgate.  Very Idaho.  Meredith looks super happy.
The entryway makes a great stage.  We had a little Bieber Concert after dinner one night.
Stage moms and a darn pretty background!
I think Quinn had her blanket wrapped around her head to be "Rapunzel".
But you never can tell with that kid.
Poor Marcus, the only boy rocking a solo.
I planned on getting some great pictures on our little hike into Bear Basin but...
this kid was POOPED.  So she and I cuddled up under a tree and took a nap instead.
Way better than hiking.
We enjoyed a fantasic view of lake Payette.  Complete with thunder and lighting.  Such a nice change form the heat and smoke in Boise.

July 2012 - Week 1

Ahhh, we are home again and getting settled back into normal, boring life again.  We had a wild few weeks there with non-stop action.  We are all pooped to say the least.  Time to whip the kids back into shape and do some laundry.  No more 10pm bedtimes and no more hotdogs...for a while anyway.  We got to spend the 4th of July in McCall and it was great.  We saw old friends and made new ones..it was perfect and the weather couldn't have been any hotter, literally.
It was 92 yesterday.  Thanks hot for McCall people!

We kicked back in the beach on the 4th.
These two fancy themselves cowboys but really they are sipping on white wine spritzers.
Tip the paddleboard is a fun new game
Our slide from Boise is getting lots of use in McCall!
Uncle Scotty and Aunt Stacy visited us from Spokane.  So fun to have them tour Boise and get to spend time at the lake.  The girls ADORE them!
Meredith and Marley got pretty brave swimming out to the boats
Josh Arevelo and Quinn bonded over some Pirates Booty.
Delaney got a lift from Uncle Scotty.
In the evening we headed up to King Pines to have dinner with the McKibbons.
Lots of kids in red, white and blue.  Run for your lives!
Adults riding tiny bikes is always funny.
 Getting loud in the driveway
The perfect spot to light fireworks is right next to your truck...
 4th of July fashion
Not sure what this is here.
Dylan didn't get the memo about the red, white and blue.  I guess pink works?
Note that Quinn is nowhere to be seen.  She headed for the hills when the Pop Its came out.
We got to spend some time with the Bryans.  Uncle Scotty once again entertains!
Stacy and Dylan Beeson, Stacy Meredith and Jesse.
 Quinn and Thomas!
Dinner at our place with the Kings and Beesons.
Quinn and Henry sharing some laughs and salad.
Quinn needs some girlfriends I guess?
Lucy and Delaney hamming it up
 We did a little tubing...
Quinn did a little boat riding
The girls favorite new attraction is Barney the puppy.
Other peoples puppies are the best!
We got to visit Disneyland McCall (aka the Darmodys cabin).
First there were paddleboat rides.
 Then trampoline jumping
 Then water mat sprints
And finally the megaslide.  Meredith never actually went down.  Too chicken.
Quinn played it safe on the deck.
Thanks Becky and Mike for entertaining us for the day!
Next time maybe a family picture or at least maybe ONE of good old Mom.
