NYE

The Bordners hosted a little last minute family New Years Eve party.
Of course it quickly became a dance party!

We got word our cabin was empty and clean on the 1st so we zoomed up to McCall to get in some time at Brundage.  Lots of fun friends to ski with, but no new snow.  We still have 3 jam packed days of fun on the slopes!
And on the ice!  Thanks Ari for letting us borrow your 'pusher'.

We felt guilty for neglecting Riley for so long, we built her an amusement park out of all the boxes we had piled up.  Poor poor critter.

Post Christmas in Spokane

The girls and I stayed in Spokane for a few days after Christmas.  We did all the usual Spokane things...carousel, ride over the falls etc...
The best find was a great cupcake shop!
It was so good we went every day.

The day after Christmas KK, Aunt Stacy and I took the girls to
Coeur d Alene to do the boat cruise/light tour.  It was really fun!
Look, I made it into a picture!
Aunt Stacys parents live a little ways out of town and have horses.  Sonja arranged for the girls to have a sleigh ride at her neighbors farm but it was too icy.  The girls still have fun in the pink camo 4-wheeler.
Lunch at the Milk Bottle with Uncle Scott
We all hate to say goodbye to KK.
Maybe I should try and get a family picture or at least one of Jesse and I at Christmas and possible Papa Jim?  So horrible of me!

Christmas!

We kicked off our Christmas a week early in McCall with Papa Gene and Grammy Dana.  Jesse and I got an early present by getting to ski by ourselves for a whole day!  I don't have many pictures, we all took turns being really sick during the week of Christmas.  A real bummer.

All Quinn asked for was a robot dog named Zoomer.  She was so so happy when she opened her own Zoomer.

 Hot tub time
Next up was a trip to Spokane.  On Christmas Eve we visited Papa Mike and Nana at their house in Nine Mile Falls.
Super excited about their Nerf guns

Christmas morning at Papa Jims and KKs!
Soooo hard to wait for sick Quinn to wake up
Killing time opening presents for Butter and Bitty Baby
Delaney was like Ralphie looking for a long, skinny present.
She was so excited to get her own Razor scooter.

 Nap time
 Delaney crashed under the tree
Someone ate all the kisses of the top of the cookies
 And all the olives
Delaney rallied for some ''kid wine"
 Wonderful Christmas with the family!
Took Dad to the airport and then went to bed at 6pm!

Christmas Programs 2013

The last week of school before winter break was jam packed with fun!
Like eating breakfast on the bathroom floor.
We got to see Meredith perform in another wonderful program at Roosevelt
Quinn made her debut at Wesleyan Preschool

Poor Delaney was too sick to join her classmates, she was SO miserable
We didn't have time to host our annual Santa party this year but the big guy stopped by for a visit one night after gymnastics!
Sadly, Delaney saw the santa suit at Papa Genes house earlier in the day.
Santa was outed.

 Papa loves being Santa!
I gave all the 2nd grade moms a break from Christmas partying and has the kids in Merediths class watch a movie and have hot cocoa.  Easy and quiet!
