Easter!

This Easter we headed to McCall and met Papa Jim and KK for the Holiday.  We had a great time at the New Meadows Easter egg hunt.
We each took a kid - I got Quinn who loved hunting for eggs!

Things were a little more competitive for the 8 year olds.
We dyed some eggs...
Easter morning!

Brunch at Shore Lodge

Back at the cabin we had our own egg hunt, over and over and over.

Time to head home, kids are wiped out!

Delaney

I discovered I have a lot of pictures of Delaney.  We get to spend some quality time together every week when Quinn is off at school.  On Tuesdays we have a class at the zoo which we both love.  Each week we get to meet a new animal.  Delaney is never, ever afraid to touch any of the critters.  I had to pry her away from this boa.

She's not all tomboy.  Delaney loooooves to get her hair washed.  One time she even managed to fall asleep.  Delaney and Quinn got botched hair cuts a few weeks ago so we had an emergency trip to Lunatic Fringe
to fix the damage.

Soooo much better!
Future ASB president here.  Delaney proposed a pajama
day to her teachers a few weeks ago and voila - PJ day!
I am still getting asked multiple times a day if these two are twins.  They weigh the same and are the same height so I can't really blame people for asking!  These two are doing swim lessons together this spring.

Quinn Turns 4!

Four years went by in a flash!  This one has given us a run for our money but life would be pretty boring without Quinn.
She keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh every day.
 Very into unicorns this year
 Lunch picnic with Mom
 Cupcakes with Sam/Eli/Sara!
We had a little park picnic with some friends.  Quinn requested that Hudson and Keegan be there.  Keegan wrote Quinn a sweet birthday note.
 Quinn and her buddies
Thomas, Hudson, Keegan and Miles
 Rainbow cake as requested

March 2014

Some pretty exciting things happening on Bannock.
A really strange hail storm...Kindergarten registration, spring weather, new swimsuits, softball games and spring skiing!

We headed North to Spokane for spring break.  Not too exciting but a great change of pace for me and the kids.  Always fun to switch things up!
Delaney in heaven eating her favorite Swedish pancakes.
 Meredith likes them too.
 Spokane landmark...big wagon.
 carousel again...
We ventured out onto a bridge to see the falls.
Quinn declared "that waterfall was dumb." Not easily impressed.
Spokane commutes are a little longer than in Boise!
Throwback rollerskating with Nana and Papa Mike.

 Lazy Spokane morning.
 Lunch at Franks
Vintage playmobile toys at Sonja and Rogers house.
When we got back to Boise we had a big surprise.  Grammy and Papa Gene were finally able to pick up the long awaited kitten!
Delaney made a sign for our door that says "Andy, we love you".
And boy does she...first thing in the morning she goes to visit him.
Jesse is warming...or is he contemplating kitty homicide?
 Pretty darn cute.
FINALLY found a kids Zella shirt that fits Delaney.  She was chewing holes in her shirts so she had ones like mine.  Maybe next I can get her to stop tearing holes in the knees of her pants.
 Pirate week at Wesleyan!
