Thanksgiving and beyond...

Somehow Christmas is 11 days away.  Not sure how this has happened!  We've been busy busy doing Christmasy things ever since Thanksgiving.  Meredith and I worked on her class wreath for Festival of Trees (2nd place!).  Amazing as we threw this together in about 2 days.
Thanksgiving lunch at Roosevelt.  Meredith was busy helping serve...
 Friends with beards
Meredith set a wicked Thanksgiving table
Post dinner walk in shorts with cousin London.
Ahhh, it's good to be a HUSKY!

Capitol tree lighting - missing a Meredith (Nutcracker rehearsal!)
Killer $32 tree.  We weren't going to do a tree in Boise so the kids were thrilled.
Harry Potter ornaments in the works!  Meredith did a great job on them- lots of layers and drying time.  Quite a process but worth it in the end!  Don't worry, we gave Hermione some more hair.
Roosevelt Craft Fair.  Kids made a killing and then spent all their earnings on others kids 'crafts'.
Wonder Wave was a big hit at the McKibbons, we are so sad it's sold out (not sad at all).
Quinn likes to get on the roof any chance you gets.  Practice for sneaking out?  Gonna have to put some locks on that window.
Overloaded gingerbread man.  I said, pick one piece of candy...one!
The big day finally arrived.  Time to get those nasty tonsils out!  Delaney did great and was a real trooper.  We are 7 days in and recovery has been a bit dicey.
New Seahawks blanket from the Brouses helped ;)
 In the meantime at Roosevelt...
Totally crashed after the first day back at school...taking it one day at a time here!
While I stayed home with Meredith/Delaney in Nutcracker/tonsillectomy jail - Jesse and Quinn hit opening day at Brundage and built a gigantic snowman with Marcus and Taylor.

Moving right along into fall...

Quinn played soccer for the 1st time this fall.  Here is her cute little team - the Raptors!  She told me she doesn't like to practice, she just wants to play in the games.  Same with dance.  She doesn't want to practice - just go straight to performances!
Then there were these awesome 2nd grade football players!  They made it all the way to the championships.  Delaney can't wait for next season.
In September I got to meet up with my Delta Gamma crew in Palm Springs.
The Parker did not disappoint.

 Lots of eating
 Lots of ubering
 Lots of laughing

I can't wait until our next trip!
Delaney finally got the short hair cut she's been wanting.
2nd grade trouble makers
Morning coffee run to Flying M
Testing out some Halloween costumes.
And...we're back at Ballet Idaho.  Prepping for the Nutcracker!
Took the girls to The Farmstead for the first time.  BEST day to go you ask?  When there is a weekday BSU game at home agains BYU.  There was no one there!

Reading week hat day - Quinns favorite - The Day the Crayons Came Home
First of many Halloween parties!
Peacock
Wind Up Doll
Football player
Ready to go!
Spooky house with cemetary
Hitting Warm Springs with our friend Madison!
And....all she wants for Christmas is a drum set.

Summers not over...

I love that our kids don't even recognize that we actually have our own pets.  Delaney is a BIG fan of Andy the cat and Bella the dog who live across the street at Papa Gene and Grammys house.
The cat even started following the girls to school!

And apparently we do doggie washing too...full service
Welp, these photos are highly censored.  Super fun adults only weekend in Ketchum to celebrate Ryan Skene turing the big 4-0.  I don't know how many more of these I can take...
Here we are working on drinking all the booze in town
I don't know...nervous about something?!
We were REALLY mad our super cool jams didn't get played on the fancy jukebox
 Tis next time!
Aaaand, back in Boise Papa Jim and KK held down the fort for days and days!
