October 2009 - Week 3 and Beyond

I'm back and am trying to catch up on posting picture from the last couple weeks. I had a computer meltdown after a corrupt MS update, so after having my computer totally wiped I am back up and running! So let me fill you in on what we have been up to...

We had a nice weekend in McCall. We attempted to scout for potential Christmas trees but had no luck in a couple of new spots. Back to our old standby, Bear Basin.
We took the girls to Bistro 45 for a little snack. They have a bocce ball court that the kids love.

We love Bistro 45, they toned down their normal cheese plate and made it kid friendly for us!
It was a gorgeous weekend at the lake, Jesse got some good photos early one morning. I think he was dying to go water skiing.

Last weekend our neighbor Jeannine had a yard sale. Meredith and I made ghost suckers and she had a little sale of her own!
Papa Mike and Nana came for a visit and we drug them to Boo at the Zoo. I've avoided this for the last couple of years because it gets so chaotic. But we pulled ourselves together, got to the zoo early and had a great time.

Later that day we bundled up and walked down to the MK Nature Center for their annual Creature of the Night nature walk.

Meredith liked the real owl the best.

And she liked learning about bait stations. Delaney just liked the toys on the table.
Okay, I'm all caught up! Next up is a spooky Halloween weekend!

Pregnancy #3 - Week 16

This picture is when I was 16 weeks pregnant with Delaney.

Oh boy, this is not a flattering picture. This kid is killing me, look how huge I am already! The Halloween candy is not helping the cause. Here I am at 16 weeks with #3. And just for fun, here is a breakdown of all the bad stuff in snack size Halloween candy. See HERE.

October 2009 - Week 2

The cold weather is here, and so is Grandma KK (thank God). Jesse is off hunting for 6 days so I had to call in reinforcements for the weekend. 6 days is a loooong time with 2 kids and no breaks! Thanks once again Mom. And I am not even making it fun for her, dragging her out to shop for clothes for the girls. And I'm pretty sure she has watched Snow White 10 times by now. At least now the girls don't have to wear sandals with socks and highwater pants!
We did manage a little fun at Linder Farms on Saturday.
Big hayride!
Little petting zoo. Delaney goes nuts over goats.
KK and the girls
A little overwhelmed by all the choices.
Delaney picked hers quick.
Still not sure.
We've been so busy with Grandma KK we haven't really sat down much! On the agenda tonight is Thanksgiving Dinner 101 and chocolate ghost making. I'm finally going to learn how to make mashed potatoes. I know, I really have never made them! This still does not mean I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner, I leave that to the experts.

AND a special thanks to SADIE for finding and sending me a ton of mini Raisinette boxes. You are the best!

October 2009 - Week 1

I'm getting lazy with my usually on time every Sunday blog posting. Let's blame it on the new baby, I've been oh so tired. So here goes for my first post in my favorite month! It was a gorgeous day today so I grabbed my camera as we headed to the park this afternoon. I won't caption all the photos, I just enjoyed taking photos of the girls. Meredith wouldn't stop long for me to get a picture that is why there are more of Delaney, I swear I'm not playing favorites!

We spent last weekend with the Kearneys at the cabin. I don't have many photos to show for our weekend but it was nice and relaxing. Well, as relaxing as you can get being cooped up with 4 crazy kids! My friend Aiden really likes Abba baby when he visits the cabin. He went right to sleep with Abba by his side!
Why I didn't think to put the little table in the kitchen is beyond me. The kids love it and maybe the carpet will be spared. A lot of Lucky Charms were eaten...the marshmallows anyways.
Note: I really wanted to continue my tradition of posting awesome pictures of Ryan Kearney. Alas this weekend after his fall in the woods and a sprained ankle I decided to take pity on him. Next time Ryan - watch out.

This is from last week, Delaneys first pigtails. This is also what happens when I'm a bad mom and don't buckle her into her highchair. She thinks it's hilarious.
Her favorite face. Yay for new hairdos!
