Summers not over...

I love that our kids don't even recognize that we actually have our own pets.  Delaney is a BIG fan of Andy the cat and Bella the dog who live across the street at Papa Gene and Grammys house.

School Starts!

 Back to school!  As usual I wonder where the summer went.  It really does seem like we were just wrapping up the end of last year.  We ALL like a good schedule around here though so we are ready for new adventures in 1st, 2nd and 5th grades!

 Their lines are right next to each other this year.  I think they like each other more than they admit.

 Nothing like a 90's concert on the second day of school...those PBR's came back to haunt me

 It's still August, to the lake we go!  We were SO lucky all summer, not once did we hit traffic.  Our time was up.  Epic accident that closed the road for hours and hours.  

 But we made it to the lake for a super fun triple 40th birthday party.

August

Another jam packed month for us - August is always my favorite. 

Jesse got in lots of good morning ski sessions.  All by himself most morning, he was missing his buddy Dylan.  And I was forced to drive the boat.  

 August is birthday month!  First up Delaney turned 8!

 Made our way to Montana for a week.  Of course we had to hit the DQ in Missoula.  HAND dipped dilly bars.  So much better there...

 We took the girls to Grant Khors Ranch.  Love it there!  

 Mom and Dad went home to work while the kids went to Spokane to play.  Lucky kids got to go to Silverwood with Aunt Stacy and Uncle Scotty for the day!
