My weekly posts have quickly turned into monthly posts. Goal for 2017 is to be better at keeping this thing updated! 10 years and running, can't quit now.
I *think* this was when Quinn and Jesse made a quick trip to McCall
and it happened to dump snow!
Found on my phone...thanks guys
Delaney discovered the Dragon roll at Kyoto!
A quick after Thanksgiving dinner jaunt with cousin London. Note the shorts...it was freezing!
Ahhh, another Apple Cup, another victory.
8 year olds
Same 8 year olds at 3 months!
We managed to catch the Capitol tree lighting while Meredith was a Nutcracker rehearsal
Mom got to pick the tree this year. Finally!
We did a little Harry Potter crafting
And made some other crafty things for the Roosevelt Holiday Craft Fair.
About once every 8 years we put lights up. Not sure why Quinn is supervising from the roof?
I'm sure she's taking notes on how to get out that window and down to the front yard. Can't wait to have teenagers...
We KILLED Christmas prep this year. I think we checked everything off the list.
Gingerbread houses done.
We had to pile in a lot of Christmas activities before this one had her tonsils out. Poor kid had yuuuuge tonsils that needed to get yanked. She was a trooper.
Delaney had to miss the school program so all eyes were on this Hamilton!
Classic Henry, bottom left.
Day 8 post surgery - straight to bed after school. So sad!
In the meantime Amanda and I worked our magic as stage moms.
The Roosevelt girls dominated the Spanish dance
Day 987976 of Nutcracker, moms more tired than the actual dancer.
Ready for the party scene. Gotta pay your dues as a boy!
In other news, that grandparents were in town for the big show. The little ones had a bakery called "The Naked Baker". I'll let you guess how it got it's name. They actually made a killing ripping off their grandparents.
Best cousin award goes to George (an actual helicopter mechanic) who brought the girls a remote control helicopter for Christmas.
Annual trek to the mall with the Richins!
We slay Bear Chair
Christmas in McCall was magical. So much snow, and skiing and friends, family and fun!
New robes, random board thingys
earmuffs, watches...
poofy chairs and drum sets!
Also I'm embarrassed to say, I cooked my first turkey.
Still mad that Jesse had his Yeti on the table.
Quinn and I opted out of skiing one day and strolled through town.
Sooooo cold that week.
Ran into some old buddies at the ice rink!
Thanks Brooke for being super mom, conga line leader!
Jenga, Fireball...what could go wrong?
We hit the town sledding hill before it got shut down for being too dangerous.
My back hurt just watching the kids hit the bumps.
Sled squad
Quinn loves church!
Me and Kirstin at the top!
Huskies couldn't quit pull out the win, but we had a great time!
Back at home the snow started to fall...and didn't quite stop. Still hasn't in fact!
The neighborhood herd of deer got desperate looking for acorns in our neighbors yard.
Always on the hoverboard. Always.
Left my comfort zone and got on our snowmobile for the first time. It was so much fun! Even if there was way too much snow to even ski much.
Back at the resort on a bluebird day. We are getting pretty good at tailgating!
Somewhere in there were SEVEN snowdays. I didn't think we would make it but we all survived!
