There was a big birthday in our household last week. Meredith turned 6 on the 4th! I remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. Sara pointed out that turning 6 is a big deal because you have to use both hands to show 6. That IS a big deal around here. On Friday Meredith got to bring treats to school and bring a 'share' item.
Class picture with the birthday girl!
Getting ready to share her shell collection and journal from hawaii.
We spent the birthday weekend in McCall with Nana (Papa Mike had to work). We all got to go skiing and enjoy the spring-like weather on the mountain. Meredith is officially done with the bunny hill. Take me to the top she says!
Riding the lift Nana.
I stayed on the bunny hill with these two unhappy campers.
We didn't last long, note the binky and the scowl.
Opening some presents at breakfast, wearing the hat she got at school.
Why did I ever mention to Aunt Kortney that Meredith wanted Kidz Bop V. 21?
New fave.
Nana brought a dolphin cake with her to help celebrate!
Delaney picked out the big 6 candle.
Sunburned nose and hat hair with the birthday girl.
"What, we get cake?!"
Delaney turned 3.5 on the 4th.
On Sunday when we got home we went across the street for dinner with Papa Gene and Grammy. Meredith had requested spaghetti, meatballs and salad.
Quinn getting her spot all cleaned up.
Cheese! Spaghetti face.
More cake!
Someone likes getting all the attention!
Happy girls, still in her longjohns.
Delaney checking out Merediths new sleeping bag. WWIII nearly broke out over this one...
