Then we went to Montana...

We hit the road again and headed to Montana.  We took a few days before the big Meredith family reunion to see some other family along the way.  First stop was Missoula. Lucky us, the Montana State Fair was underway and right down the street from my aunt and uncles house.  Delaney loved the petting zoo of course.  And Meredith and I fell in love with this concoction of lemon shaved ice and vanilla soft serve - Lemon Dairy.

Continuing the theme we stopped in Phillipsburg for a huckleberry milkshake and some sapphire digging.
*Note:  I hate growing out bangs.  hate.*

We picked our bucket of mined dirt and then got to wash and sift it.
Then the fun part - looking for sapphires.  We found quite a few!

We made it to Anaconda and spent some time at Silver Lake with my Aunt Rosie and Uncle Tom.  We had a great day on the lake and playing in the creek.  The kids loved exploring and riding the 4-wheelers.  Cousin Jace and Logan got to come too!
We even built a bridge.  The kids played on this thing for hours.

Right before my phone fell in the lake...

We bought a bad of dirt from the sapphire mine to take home.  Again, the kids loved it!
